El Serumaga has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector with large organizations like The United Way and grassroots organizations like Forward Momentum Chicago. She is a published author and advocates against inequity issues. As an immigrant, she navigated the education system as a child in America. Her experience was a downgrade from the British education system she was accustomed to and she experienced many prejudices and inequities. As the Secretary of the Board of Tutortastic, she serves the organization to help bridge some of the educational gaps she experienced firsthand as a child. Currently, she is a Writer, Board Member of another board, public speaker, Mother, and student.

My name is Gia Howard. I was born and raised in Chicago and currently attend Northeastern Illinois University. I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in psychology and plan on becoming a therapist and possibly one day owning my own clinic. I am a part of Turortastic as a board member and am working with Tutortastic because I believe that it is important for students to have the right access to resources that will promote the growth of their education.

Hello Everyone! My name is Khari Muhammad ( He/They) and I’m a Graduate of Proviso Math & Science Academy, and currently enrolled at Xavier University of Louisiana with a major in Psychology and a minor in Mass Communications. I plan to someday become a Clinical Psychologist for future generations. I had always planned to work with youth someday and what better way to start than through tutortastic! I am so excited to see so many scholars pursue their dreams to become successful scholars and future leaders!
